Natalie did her first teacher training with Africa Yoga in 2007 and registered as a 200Hr Teacher with Yoga Alliance (USA).  Her 500Hr teacher training was completed in Koh Samui, Thailand in 2012 with Michel Besnard. Natalie is currently registered as an Experienced 500-hour Teacher Trainer with over 18 000 teaching hours.  

In 2019 the practice extended to include Kettlebell training as part of the Strength and Conditioning for Asana.   Natalie is a qualified and registered Strong First Kettlebell Instructor (SFG1) and Strong First Body Weight Instructor (SFB).

Her style reflects the discipline of Ashtanga and a keen understanding of the BioMechanics needed for safe, meditative practice.  Expect a sense of humour, a sharp eye for detail and huge support for your endeavours.


Since the outbreak of Covid 19, The Yoga School has moved online. Private live lessons can be arranged by appointment if your health permits. Please join classes online until further notice- in the interest of everyone's wellbeing. 

Western Yoga has become very focussed on the Asana (poses) and on the fashion of Poses.   The Yoga School offers a more balanced and traditional practice incorporating Pranayama (Life Force Expansion), Meditation and Philosophy of Yoga.   For this reason, private lessons are offered at affordable rates to best assist individuals and include tailor-made alignment and postural care.   Group classes are kept small to ensure this quality is maintained.
